Eduardo Construction has opened applications for the YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme 2025, aimed at empowering unemployed young people in South Africa. This initiative offers a 12-month workplace training opportunity, giving participants practical exposure in both construction and engineering fields.

What is the YES Programme?
The Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme is a joint effort between business, government, and civil society to tackle unemployment among young South Africans. It provides structured workplace experience that helps participants build valuable skills and gain a foothold in the job market.
By joining the programme at Eduardo Construction, candidates will not only gain technical knowledge but also develop soft skills needed to succeed in future careers.

Administrative & Support Roles
- Administration / Receptionist
- Financial Clerk / Bookkeeper
- Information Technology (IT)
- Human Resources (HR)
Technical & Trade Roles
- Boiler Maker / Welder
- Rigger
- Pipe Fitter
- Quality Inspector
- Safety Officer
- Storeman
- Technician and Engineers
- Diesel Mechanic Training
- Construction Project Management
These placements expose learners to real industry practices, preparing them for long-term employment within the construction and engineering industries.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 34 years old
- Currently unemployed for 6 months or longer
- Willing to commit to the 12-month YES contract
- Relevant qualifications (completed or partial) will be considered an advantage
